What to write about
Six kinds of message arrive here regularly. Each card sets a subject line for you and lists what to include, which is the difference between a fix in two days and a slow exchange of questions.
A data or factual correction
The most useful message you can send. A wrong capital, a stale population figure, a currency that changed, a border that is missing, a flag that no longer matches the official version. Corrections jump the queue ahead of everything else in the inbox.

The page address, the fact as it currently reads, what it should say, and a source if you have one.
A bug in a tool
A wheel that will not spin, a quiz that scores wrongly, a button that does nothing on your phone, a layout that overlaps. Everything here runs in the browser, so browser-specific breakage is exactly the kind of thing that slips through.

Which tool, what you did, what happened, what you expected, plus your browser and whether you are on a phone or a computer.
A partnership or advertising enquiry
Display advertising, a sponsored placement, or a genuine collaboration with an education or travel project. Guest posts written purely to place a link are declined, so please do not send those.

Who you are, what you are proposing, the pages you have in mind, and your budget or commercial terms.
A copyright or DMCA notice
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, write directly and it will be reviewed on its merits. Nothing is published here that is knowingly somebody else's, and anything genuinely infringing comes down.

The exact page address, identification of the work you own, your proof of ownership, and your contact details.
A privacy or data request
Requests to access, correct or delete personal data, questions about advertising cookies, or anything covered by GDPR and similar rules. Note that the tools themselves store nothing, so there is usually far less data than people expect.

A tool you wish existed, a question about the dataset, a teacher checking whether a generator may be used in a classroom, or a plain thank you. All of it is read, and requests for new tools genuinely do shape what gets built next.

What to include so it can be actioned
Most messages that go unresolved are not ignored, they are simply unactionable. Six lines of detail turn a report into a fix.
The page address
Paste the full URL from your browser bar. It sounds obvious, but with hundreds of pages on the site, “the page about the flag” is not enough to find it.
The exact wording
Quote the sentence or figure you are writing about. Pages get edited, so a quote makes it clear which version you saw.
What it should say instead
For corrections, the replacement fact matters as much as the error. A report that something is wrong without saying what is right takes several times longer to resolve.
A source, if you have one
A link to an official statistics office, a government page or a UN dataset turns a research job into a two-minute verification. This is the single biggest thing that speeds up a fix.
Your device and browser, for bugs
Chrome on Android and Safari on an iPhone behave differently. Knowing which one broke narrows the cause immediately.
A screenshot, if it is visual
For layout problems, a screenshot is worth several paragraphs of description. Attachments are fine.
How long a reply takes
Expect a reply in two or three working days. In a busy week it can be five. There is no support team and no overnight cover, so an honest estimate is better than a promise of twenty-four hours that would be broken most weeks.
Priority is straightforward. Corrections and copyright or privacy notices are handled first, because those affect either the accuracy of the site or somebody’s rights. Bug reports come next, since a broken tool is a page nobody can use. Advertising and partnership enquiries are answered last, and bulk-sent link-building mail is not answered at all.
If a week goes by in silence, please send the message a second time. Mail from unfamiliar addresses does sometimes land in spam, and a repeat is far more useful than assuming the first one was thrown away.

I found wrong information on a country page. What should I send?
Send the page address, the fact as it currently reads, what it should say instead, and a source link if you have one. Corrections are treated as the highest priority of anything that arrives. If the fix is straightforward it is usually live within a couple of days, and where the error changed the meaning of a paragraph the surrounding text gets rewritten rather than patched.
Can I use your content, screenshots or country data in my own project?
The underlying country facts come from public, openly licensed datasets and are nobody's property to grant, so use them freely from the original sources. The written articles and page text on this site are original work covered by the terms and conditions: quote a short passage with a link back and that is fine, republish a whole article and it is not. Teachers using the tools in class need no permission at all.
Do you accept guest posts, link exchanges or paid articles?
No. Guest posts written to place a link are declined without exception, and no article on this site is sponsored or paid for. Genuine advertising enquiries about display placements are welcome and get a straight answer either way. Mail sent as a template to a hundred sites at once is easy to spot and does not get a reply.
How do I ask for my personal data to be deleted?
Email the address on this page with what you are asking for. Bear in mind that the tools themselves store nothing at all: spins, quiz scores and generated results never leave your browser, so there is rarely any personal data held here to delete.
